This marks the next phase in Sarawak’s Unreal Engine training journey — a specialised motion graphics course running for 5 days from 11–15 August 2025 at TEGAS Digital Village

Following the success of the 2024 introductory module, this continuation programme focuses on real-time animation, rendering, and visual storytelling using Unreal Engine 5.

Led by certified trainers from EFXCO Academy and supported by Epic Games, the course blends hands-on practice with up-to-date creative workflows. The syllabus is regularly refreshed to reflect the latest tools, techniques, and motion design capabilities within Unreal Engine 5. 

What is Unreal Engine 5?

Unreal Engine 5 is a state-of-the-art real-time 3D creation tool developed by Epic Games. It is widely used across various industries, including game design, architecture, automotive, and virtual production, to create highly realistic visuals and immersive experiences. With its comprehensive suite of tools and features, Unreal Engine 5 enables creators to build stunning, interactive content across PC, console, mobile, VR, and AR platforms.

What Do You Need To Know Before Enrolling?

An Adobe, Unity, Unreal Engine and Nuke Certified Instructor and HRDF accredited trainer, Hussin has been shaping minds in digital creativity since 2010. His notable tenure as the Head of Education at the Academy Award-winning Rhythm & Hues studio speaks to his mastery in VFX for film and animation. Beyond training, Hussin is a guiding force as a technical advisor for MSC Malaysia’s National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) and an active Adobe Community Professional, contributing significantly to the industry’s advancement.

Zaid Hakimi

Game designer, and writer who is deeply committed to crafting immersive and innovative experiences. He has hands-on experience using Unreal Engine 5 with over 5 years of practice with Unreal Engine both as an animator and game designer, Zaid takes advantage of its many capabilities including advanced rendering techniques and dynamic lighting that may be used for developing interactive game worlds. He excels at crafting compelling narratives that enhance the gaming experience

Ts Nadhirah Ishak

Earned her Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons.) with a specialization in Virtual Reality from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, in 2011. She advanced her education by pursuing a master’s research degree, focusing on ‘The Adaptation of Nujum Pa’ Blalang (1959) into Virtual Game Elements’ at UITM. A certified Adobe Certified Professional (ACP), she now serves as the Head of Training at EFXCO.

Adrian Billones

Adrian is a game designer with hands-on experience in Unreal Engine, UEFN, 3ds Max, Blender, and Photoshop. Passionate about visual storytelling, he leverages his background in digital illustration and 3D tools to create immersive game environments. With over three years of experience in Photoshop and ongoing development work in Unreal Engine, Adrian is actively building his career as a concept artist.
